Signs of Terrible Two??
Remember me sharing about Jonathan throwing tantrums and his “suicidal” act? Watch this…
First, he got angry with me then he pretended to cry and next, he lied on the floor. Sometimes I’ll just walk away and tell him that he’s not going to get what he wants if he behaves that way.
Recently, he refuses to change clothes or lie down quitely during diapers changing time no matter how I coax him. Now he has learned to climb up the tables! Up the dining tables to reach for snacks. Up the computer table to play with the laptop.
Other than his mischieviousness, he is an obedient boy. He follows and understands our instructions very well. He is fast in picking up new things.
A positive note…my boy is growing up. 🙂

ohhh no julie! i hope he wont keep continuing doing his “suicidal” act! it can be pretty stressful when he does that at the mall!
rachael has not really into that yet…but she cries whenever she refuses to leave the playground or the toys store! *faint*
and pls, since he is into climbing tables, pls do make sure there’s no hot food/soup/drink on the table…! dont make the mistake i did!
Pet says:
But, if he does do that at the mall, just carry him and take him away to a more quiet place to calm him down. I read this from somewhere… 🙂
Another note, all mothers have to go thru this terrible two stage…one way or another!
Ann says:
Julie…I SO KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN !!!
Boyboy does ALL the things Jonathon does….sigh…and when he lies on the floor, I have no choice but to rush to him straight away coz of his literal head banging!!
But yes, they are indeed growing up.
anggie says:
sound so familiar to me la … cos i m experience this with Jeremy !! yah… on the positive thot … they r growing up, on the negative thot… terrible 2 in making !! hahhaha… hopefully this phase of behavior pass and go quickly ya !!
mc says:
we should start a terrible twos support group … really very stressful!
lil prince's mum says:
Julie, you know what! My boy have similar act, too!~
KittyCat says:
The terrible twos came late for us and we actually experienced terrible threes more 🙂
The strict English teacher I am, I don’t entertain tantrums. Lucas has not thrown any public tantrums because he knows his Mum will not bother!
I just ignore him until he calms down himself or he’s put into the room until that happens.
yugene says:
Haha!! I like the picture!!
My boy also showing the same pattern!! 🙁 Pengsan!
huisia says:
